USD Men's Club Soccer is one-third of the way to reaching our fundraising goal and we need your help to get there! In order to stay competitive within our West Coast Soccer Association division, and to qualify for the National Club Soccer Championships, we need your funding to continue our progress as a team. Our players pay a significant fee to be on the team, and the University's Associated Students board provides us with some money, but it is still not enough to cover our season's expenses. We greatly appreciate your donations, your generosity is extremely helpful to our club!
Donations are applied to...
1. Scholarships for players. We spend a significant portion of our funds on scholarships for players who cannot afford the entry fee to play on the team. By doing this, we hope to gain talent for our team and to reach out to those passionate individuals, as money should never exclude anyone from playing this inclusive worldwide sport that is loved by so many.
2. Equipment. We are in need of funds for equipment such as balls, uniforms, and cones for use during practice and games.
3. Fees. We incur normal fees for field space for practices and games, and referee fees during games.

Thank you for visiting our USD Men's Club Soccer fundraising page! We are a competitive collegiate club soccer team that is part of the West Coast Soccer Association, with an organization comprised of twenty-seven players and one coach. Together we travel and compete against other universities all over Southern California and occasionally out-of-state schools as well. We are a motivated and determined team, with many dedicated and talented players who work hard at practice and during games to improve their skills to take us as a team to the next level. In many cases, we did not expect to have the chance to continue our competitive soccer careers beyond high school in such a manageable but competitive capacity. However, we were lucky enough to come across this wonderful program at USD that allows us to do just that. We are in need of funds to continue our experience as a team. In addition to spending money on field space for practices and games, we spend the majority of our funds on scholarships for players who cannot afford the entry fee to play on the team, as we feel that money should never hinder the opportunity to play such a globally renowned sport. Additionally, our team is in need of funds for equipment such as balls, uniforms, cones, and other expenses, such as referee and travel fees. Our goal next semester is to compete in the National Club Soccer Championships, hosted in San Luis Obispo, CA. With previous donations, we have been able to buy this equipment and attend the National Championships in years past, and your donations and support will potentially allow us to continue to compete in our league at the highest level. Why are donations necessary?
We need these donations to be able to compete in the National Club Soccer Championships this season, held in San Luis Obispo, CA. By purchasing new equipment, recruiting talented players with scholarships, and paying our fees for games and practices, we are preparing ourselves in the best way possible to compete in the national championship tournament. Additionally, our team dues and the funding that the University provides us only cover the regular season and does not cover our postseason travel expenses. We have been able to compete in the playoffs in years past, and we are well on our way this season already, with 2 wins, 1 tie, and 1 loss so far! We appreciate your support as we strive to compete at the highest level of Club Soccer!
