Our fundraising campaign is almost finished and we are so close to reaching our goal! Please consider supporting our campaign so that we can continue to serve members of the K and 14th community. Pancakes: Serving up Hope exists to bring awareness to homelessness by bridging the gap between those who are privileged with homes, careers, and education with the underserved population in San Diego. Every Saturday, members of the community come together to share a meal with those in need at the corner of K and 14th Streets in downtown San Diego for free. Your support in helping us purchase supplies goes beyond providing a meal to someone in need, it also provides faith, health services, and compassion to those who need it most. All gifts made to Pancakes: Serving up Hope are 100% tax deductible.
Donations are applied to...
All donations are applied to the supplies required to sustain Pancakes every Saturday morning. We are known for offering the crowd favorite, The Works, which consists of fresh pancakes, butter, fruit, chocolate chips, and syrup. The Starbucks on Linda Vista Rd sponsors Pancakes SUH by donating a portion of our coffee every Saturday. Our goal is to bridge relationships and provide the resources necessary to equip those we serve with the already available resources that will help them become self-sufficient and your donation will allow us to do that.

On behalf of all of us at Pancakes: Serving up Hope, we would like to thank you for taking the time to learn about the impact we've had on the corner of K and 14th street. Every Saturday, we serve pancakes to over 150 people! Among these people are veterans, those that are differently- abled, children, mothers, and fathers. We'd like to invite you to not only contribute financially but to come experience Pancakes SUH for yourself. It is only because of your kindness that we are able to bless the community we serve! Why are donations necessary?
With your support, we are able to continue to provide a meal to those in need, all while fostering a community built on love and joy. Your donation also allows for us to bring in other resources and agencies to provide their services to those in need such as the Health and Human Services Agency and Family Health Centers of San Diego. At Pancakes, we strive to build relationships and trust with the families and veterans we serve and aim to begin humanizing folks who have been marginalized and mistreated in our community. Providing this space allows for growth within our volunteers and our friends who come through our line.
