USD's Response

Watch President Harris' video above where he describes the steps being taken to protect USD students and employees. There is also a moving video message from Vice President Monsignor Dillabough on how our Torero family is responding as a community of faith.

Donations are applied to...

- Travel costs associated with relocating

- Support for students facing housing and/or food insecurity after relocating from campus

- Access to technology for students without a way to take part in remote learning opportunities

Who benefits from the emergency funds?

As USD continues to navigate the unprecedented challenge of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), many people in our community have reached out to ask what they can do to support our students adversely affected during this time.

Like many of you, students were asked to upend their lives due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Many of our students are under considerable financial stress because they have had to move and adapt to remote learning quickly. Your gift will aid those facing financial challenges caused by the current situation, from loss of employment to expenses related to securing housing, accessing technology and resources for remote learning, and more.
