The USD School of Law graduating class of 2023 is proud to announce that our class gift is a 5 year pledge to fund a Writs Snack and Coffee Bar! This bar will provide much needed healthier, functional, and accessible snack items for our peers.
Donations are applied to...
Donations will be used to fund the initial creation of the bar, while maintaining supply for the bar over 5 years time. The Class Gift Committee has devised a modular system for the Snack and Coffee Bar to ensure that should any renovations occur in the law school building, student do not lose access to the bar. This project is built to be scalable. If we can't reach our goal we can scale back to less modular pieces, less food options, etc. The bar will be stocked by an appointed Student Bar Association committee/member. Trusted soon-to-be alumni Marty Levers (Vice President, SBA) and Briana Peters (VP of Student Orgs, SBA) will be continuing advisors on the team.

We believe in our graduating class and alumni to help us in achieving this dream. Thank you again. Why are donations necessary?
Any current or former law student knows that a law school inevitably becomes a second home. You dedicate much of your time to studying in the school's hallowed halls. Currently, healthier snack and beverage options are only available in undergraduate buildings. Efficiently working students do not always have time to trek to Tu Mercado. The Writs Snack and Coffee Bar is the solution to our problem. Students can grab a quick snack between classes without fear of missing any precious lecture-time.
